The Baker Equipment Manufacturers and Allieds association (BEMA) represents the baking industry equipment manufacturers and was founded in 1918. BEMA’s mission is to connect, educate and provide resources for BEMA members and to provide membership an overwhelming competitive advantage.

BEMA co-owns the International Baking Industry Exposition along with ABA, which is held each year in Las Vegas in September and attracts over 22,000 baking industry professionals.

BEMA members manufacture baking equipment and systems, ingredient handling systems, packaging materials and systems, pizza equipment and supplies, refrigeration equipment, sanitation equipment, and snack food equipment and supplies. Members also provide business services, ingredients, flavorings, spices and fillings, transportation and distribution equipment and technology solutions.
